OUR PROJECT THIS YEAR…

On a recent trip to Karubabi Harvest School, some women from Cornerstone were interviewing a few of the female students about their experience at the school. They asked the students why they chose to attend the school. One of the girls replied,

Because it is at the school where I finally feel safe.”

Our goal with this year’s project is to increase the safety of every student while at school.

The below video shows the school property as of November 2023. We’re now in the final year of a two-year goal to raise $100,000 to construct a security fence around the entire property & dorm. This fence will significantly increase the overall security of the school and specifically ensure the safety of all students while staying overnight.

To COMPLETE our Fundraising goal fOR THIS Year, WE HOPE to RAISe $50,000

The School at Karubabi, Muramvya

Karubabi Harvest School has become a beacon of hope in the province Muramvya. In a country long plagued by ethnic divisions and severe poverty, the school is helping bring ethnic groups together, providing meals for kids who otherwise wouldn't have any, and raising up a generation, who for the first time, are receiving a quality education.

This school has the potential to transform a community; to bring unity amongst the ethnic groups; to raise leaders who will transform their world for Jesus. And already this is happening.
